Designers in Residence is an exciting new initiative that places young motivated designers with a passion for their subject into UK schools to run design workshops.

Thanks to Campion CLC, we were able to have two Designers in Residence staff in school on Thursday 25th June to lead a fashion illustration workshop for Year 10 Textiles pupils.

The pupils practised their design skills using basic marker techniques and body outlines. Their aim is to produce well communicated, creative and innovative ideas for their Textiles Technology coursework next year.

The girls will practise their new found techniques over the summer and Ms Carley is looking forward to marking some exciting design work next year!
