How to get to St. Hilda's

St Hilda's CE High School is situated at the end of Croxteth Drive adjacent to Sefton Park, it can be accessed by all modes of transport and this page will help you find the best route.

Public transport
There are bus stops outside school on the Ullet Road side of the building. Frequent services along this road are –
60, 75, 75E, 75A, 80, 80A.Buses stopping nearby on Smithdown Road (a 10 minute walk from school) include –
76, 76A/77, 86, 86A, 86B, 86E. For up to date timetables and other public transport information e.g. tickets, please visit www.merseytravel.gov.uk

Cycling
St Hilda’s is next to Sefton Park and national cycle route 56. This means that there may be a suitable route which avoids main roads and junctions. You can view the Liverpool cycle map and request a paper copy by visiting www.LetsTravelWise.org/cycling/  Free on road cycle training is offered to our pupils, to find out more see Mrs O’Neill. Cycle storage is coming soon! At present, visitor bikes can be locked up on railings outside the school office.

Walking
If you are visiting school from within walking distance, check out google maps at www.google.co.uk to find a suitable route.

School bus services
For pupils, there are school bus services at the end of the school day. The 660 leaves at 4pm (School, Queens Drive to Rice Lane) and the 672 at 3:55pm (School, Allerton, Childwall, Woolton). Under 16s fare is 50p, over 16s £1. Bus passes can be used on these services.
